Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients based on their needs.
  • Provide psychotherapy to individuals, families, or groups using evidence-based therapies.
  • Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals for holistic care.
  • Provide support and guidance to families of clients to help with their roles.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in clinical psychology.
  • Maintain accurate client records and protect confidentiality in line with ethical standards.
  • Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss client progress.
  • Offer crisis intervention and develop management plans for clients with urgent needs.
  • Conduct workshops and training for staff and other professionals on mental health topics.
  • Advocate for mental health awareness and promote a stigma-free environment within communities.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Valid license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in the state.
  • Minimum of three years of experience working in a clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of psychological theory and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse populations.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in sensitive situations.
  • Proficiency in computer applications for maintaining client records and documentation.
