Civil Works Maintenance Supervisor

Job Purpose

Responsible for leading a team and running the fit-out projects and civil works maintenance jobs to ensure a high quality standard that meets the Clients and technical requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for applying operations procedures, policies and standards and monitor team’s compliance.
• Effective technical supervision of the assigned projects and tasks.
• Ensures that all Health and Safety procedures are implemented and followed on the assigned site. Identifying risks on the site and reporting them to EH&S Team for corrective action.
• Coordination of the site teams to ensure coverage and qualitative work as per the Clients expectations.
• Evaluate in-house team’s performance as well as external contracted works.
• Technical support and decision making for main issues related to civil works.
• Update Operations Manager by maintaining and providing documentations and progress reports.
• Manage project budget to ensure there is no deviation.
• Approves procurement requirement and ensures availability of required spare parts and other parts as needed.
• Identify technical and general improvements on sites to recommend to Operations Manager.
• Assessing the performance of individual team members and train them on the job to improve their performance and the overall performance of the team.
• Supervise Third Party Contractors to ensure the quality of work is in line with the required standards.
• Documentation of civil work activities, observations, and their conformance with (or deviation from) plans and specifications for Operation’s Manager’s review.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.

Job Requirements

• Education - Bachelor Degree in Civil.
• Work Experience - 4 years of experience in a Civil Works Supervisor role where quality and delivery were a key aspect of the job, together with budgetary and service delivery’s full responsibilities.
• Knowledge - Building construction, Project Budget management, Health and Safety.
• Skills - Building construction, Project Budget management, Health and Safety.
• UAE Driving license is must.
