Civil Technician

Job Summary

Salayel Hospitality is seeking a Civil Technician to support the maintenance, renovation, and construction activities across our hospitality assets. The role focuses on ensuring all civil works are executed efficiently, safely, and in line with hospitality standards, UAE regulations, and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day civil maintenance works including masonry, tiling, plastering, painting, concreting, and minor structural repairs
• Support renovation, refurbishment, and fit-out projects within hotels, serviced apartments, and hospitality facilities
• Inspect buildings and facilities to identify civil defects and report corrective actions
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments for civil-related tasks
• Ensure all works comply with UAE civil codes, safety standards, and quality guidelines
• Prepare basic measurements, material estimates, and work reports
• Attend emergency maintenance issues and urgent repair requests
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and operational condition
• Follow company HSE policies and report any safety hazards immediately
  
  

• Diploma or ITI certification in Civil Engineering / Building Maintenance or related field
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in civil maintenance or construction, preferably in hospitality, facilities management, or real estate
• Good knowledge of civil works, finishing standards, and building materials
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi municipality regulations and safety practices is an advantage
• Ability to read basic drawings and specifications
• Physically fit and able to work on-site
