Job Purpose

As a Civil Supervisor at UAE - Integrated Facility Management in Abu Dhabi, you will oversee the effective management and execution of civil engineering tasks that support our facility operations. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that maintenance and construction activities comply with quality standards and safety regulations, fostering a seamless environment for both clients and team members.

Roles, Responsibilities & Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil maintenance and repair activities across multiple sites, adhering to company policies and client requirements.
• Oversee preventive maintenance scheduling and ensure timely completion of planned works to minimize downtime and enhance facility performance.
• Interpret CAD drawings and technical documents to guide teams accurately during project execution.
• Manage waste management systems to promote sustainability and regulatory compliance on site.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HVAC, BMS, and CCTV specialists to ensure integrated facility management solutions are effectively implemented.
• Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Engage directly with clients and stakeholders, maintaining a strong customer focus and effective communication throughout project lifecycles.
• Utilize advanced technology and data fluency skills to track progress, evaluate performance, and streamline operational processes.
  
  

Qualification

Qualified candidates should hold a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field, with certifications or training in facility management considered an asset. A strong understanding of integrated facility management principles is essential, alongside knowledge of HVAC, BMS, and CCTV system controls as they relate to civil operations.

Proficiency in preventive maintenance planning, waste management protocols, and interpretation of CAD drawings is required to perform effectively in this role. Candidates should also possess a good grasp of energy management technologies and sustainable practices to support the organization's environmental goals.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to align operational activities with strategic objectives are fundamental. Leadership training or evidence of managing teams in a technical environment will be highly advantageous.

Experience & Skills

Candidates must bring substantial experience working in civil supervision within integrated facility management or a related industry, preferably in a diverse and fast-paced environment like Abu Dhabi. A track record of successfully managing HVAC, BMS, and CCTV systems in conjunction with civil operations will be highly beneficial.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring accountability among team members are crucial. Fluency with technology and data-driven decision-making tools will enable enhanced operational efficiency.

Experience in planning and aligning maintenance schedules, particularly preventive maintenance, is necessary. Candidates must demonstrate customer-focused approaches and effective communication capabilities to engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders effectively.

Familiarity with local regulations and adherence to safety standards in the UAE is expected to ensure compliance and promote a safe working environment for all personnel.
