Job Description

Civil Inspector

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Civil Inspector to join our team! In this role you will perform site inspections for civil and infrastructure works to verify compliance with contract requirements, approved drawings, specifications and applicable standards, with particular exposure to earthworks and soil improvement activities.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct inspections to confirm works are executed in accordance with contract specifications and approved plans.
• Inspect civil/infrastructure activities such as earthworks, drainage, roads and associated improvements and site development works as applicable to the assigned area.
• Verify only approved materials are incorporated; collect and file certificates of compliance, SDS, inspection tags, and related documentation.
• Prepare and maintain daily reports and inspection documentation.
• Process and track inspection records, identify non-conformances, and support corrective action closure.
• Coordinate with survey and material testing teams / subconsultants as required.
• Recognize site issues and interface conflicts, propose solutions.
• Support job safety practices and ensure work is performed safely.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
• Minimum 5+ years experience in civil/infrastructure inspection (earthworks/soil improvement experience preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications; strong diary and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic project systems; good communication and teamwork skills.
  
  
  

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• UAE infrastructure/enabling works experience and relevant safety training/certifications.
• Ability to provide technical guidance to junior inspectors.
