Job Description

Civil Inspector

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is seeking a talented Civil Inspector to join our Construction Supervision team for a prestigious infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi.

The project scope includes pedestrian bridges, roads, utilities, street scape and associated infrastructure works. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring construction activities are carried out in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Inspect ongoing construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with quality standards and corrective action.
• Maintain daily site inspection records, reports, and activity logs.
• Review and process Inspection Requests (IRs) and maintain inspection status records.
• Coordinate with contractors, surveyors, and discipline inspectors to ensure smooth site execution.
• Verify line, level, and grading of works in coordination with survey teams.
• Monitor material quality, arrange inspections/testing, and report non-conformances.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and standards.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or road construction supervision (Preferably within UAE).
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and QA/QC procedures.
• Good computer literacy with strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
  
  

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• Experience on ADM/DMT projects.
• ADM/DMT approval or practice license is an advantage.
• Comfortable working in client-facing environment.
