Job Title: Civil Inspector – Marine / Offshore Works

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Project Type: Large-Scale Thermal Power Plant Project

Mobilization: June 2026

Employment Type: Full-time / Project-Based

Job Description

The Civil Inspector will monitor and inspect civil construction activities associated with marine or offshore-related interfaces, ensuring that works are completed in accordance with approved technical and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect marine or offshore-related civil works on site
• Verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, and approved construction procedures
• Witness inspections and testing as required
• Report quality observations, deviations, and non-conforming works
• Coordinate with civil engineers, contractors, and relevant site teams
• Maintain proper inspection records and reports
• Ensure activities are carried out in line with project HSE requirements
  
  

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of relevant inspection experience
• Experience in thermal power plant, marine, coastal, or offshore civil works
• Good understanding of field inspection, QA/QC, and HSE requirements
  
  

• GCC project exposure
• Prior experience in marine intake, outfall, or offshore interface works is an advantage
