We are seeking a skilled Civil Foreman with the designation 08J26 to lead and oversee construction projects of varying sizes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil engineering and construction management. As a Civil Foreman, you will ensure that all operations run smoothly, on schedule, and conform to the specified designs and quality standards. You must demonstrate strong leadership skills to guide and supervise construction staff while coordinating with project managers and engineers. Your role involves handling budget constraints and ensuring the safety regulations and legal stipulations are strictly adhered to. The Civil Foreman will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues on site and maintaining a productive and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee construction activities at various project sites.
• Coordinate and communicate project plans and schedules to construction staff.
• Ensure construction work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Handle and resolve any operational issues or challenges encountered on site.
• Perform daily inspections to assess work quality and adherence to plans.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers for project logistics and budgets.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and record changes and modifications.
• Monitor and manage resource allocation, including manpower and equipment.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Provide clear instructions and training to construction personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce compliance with local codes.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to stakeholders and supervisors.

Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proven experience as a Civil Foreman in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with construction management software and scheduling tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Valid and clean driver’s license for travel between project sites.
• Certification in construction safety practices and protocols is desirable.
