CIVIL ENGINEER

Position: Competent Person (CP) - Civil PTW (TRANSCO)

Location: UAE

Experience: 8-10 Years

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team as a Competent Person (CP) for Civil PTW activities within live TRANSCO substations. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing civil works while ensuring full compliance with TRANSCO standards, quality requirements, and HSE regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise civil construction activities within live substations.
• Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and work procedures.
• Coordinate site activities with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with TAQA/TRANSCO civil work specifications and standards.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control documentation.
• Manage manpower, subcontractors, materials, and equipment resources.
• Monitor project progress and ensure completion within schedule.
• Identify safety hazards and implement mitigation measures in coordination with HSE teams.
  
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• 8-10 years of substation civil construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of TAQA/TRANSCO civil specifications and standards.
• Experience working inside live substations.
• CICPA Pass mandatory.
• Familiarity with quality assurance and HSE requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
