Civil Engineer 04D25

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team and contribute to projects focused on designing and implementing infrastructure solutions. As a Civil Engineer, you will work on the planning, design, and construction of various public and private infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, tunnels, water supply systems, and other large-scale projects. Your role will involve collaborating with a diverse team of engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders to drive project success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project requirements and constraints.
• Develop detailed design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for civil engineering projects.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate design modifications and ensure alignment.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations throughout project lifecycles.
• Oversee construction activities and provide technical guidance to ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Prepare, review, and approve project designs, reports, and other technical documentation.
• Perform risk assessments to identify potential project challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage project budgets and schedules to ensure projects are delivered within deadlines and financial constraints.
• Coordinate with environmental experts to incorporate sustainable practices into project designs.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) and other software for project modeling and visualization.
• Present project proposals and progress updates to clients and stakeholders in a clear, professional manner.
• Continuously research and stay updated with new developments in civil engineering technologies and practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
• A minimum of five years of professional experience in civil engineering projects.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
• Excellent knowledge of construction and engineering principles and practices.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of stakeholders.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility to obtain one is preferred.
