Chief Financial Officer

Our client is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function of a newly established Abu Dhabi-based global services platform operating across multiple regions.

This executive mandate will shape the financial strategy, governance architecture, and treasury framework of a rapidly scaling international organisation. The CFO will be instrumental in building the financial foundations of the business, ensuring robust oversight, regulatory alignment, and long-term sustainability in a complex multi-jurisdictional environment.

The Role

- Design and implement the global finance operating model across multiple jurisdictions

- Establish and lead group consolidation across several legal entities and regions

- Develop and oversee treasury strategy including multi-currency management, FX exposure monitoring, and hedging frameworks

- Implement liquidity planning and cross-border fund management structures

- Build robust internal controls, compliance, and governance frameworks across all markets

- Lead global budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting processes

- Oversee tax structuring, regulatory compliance, and statutory reporting requirements in various jurisdictions

- Lead ERP selection, implementation, and integration across entities

- Establish banking relationships and manage funding structures where required

- Build and scale regional finance teams aligned with international expansion

- Act as strategic financial advisor to executive leadership and Board stakeholders

Candidate Profile

- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership capacity within a multi-entity, multi-country organisation

- Demonstrated exposure to high-volume transaction environments (e.g., retail, travel, consumer services, distribution, payments, or similar)

- Strong expertise in multi-currency treasury management and FX risk mitigation

- Experience leading complex group consolidation across multiple jurisdictions

- Track record of building, transforming, or scaling finance functions in dynamic operating environments

- Strong technical grounding in IFRS and international financial reporting standards

- Experience operating within regulated or compliance-driven environments preferred

- Strong leadership presence with experience building and developing high-performing teams

- Commercially astute, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a newly established structure
