CCTV Technician

The CCTV Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining CCTV systems. They will work closely with clients to assess their security needs and recommend appropriate systems. The CCTV Technician will handle the installation of cameras, DVRs, and other equipment, ensuring proper placement and functionality. They will also conduct regular maintenance checks, diagnose and resolve issues, and provide technical support to end-users.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure CCTV cameras and related equipment.
• Ensure proper placement and alignment of cameras for optimum coverage.
• Test and troubleshoot equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure system functionality.
• Provide technical support to end-users and assist with system setup.
• Create and maintain documentation of system installations and configurations.
• Keep updated on the latest CCTV technologies and industry trends.
• Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Train users on the operation and maintenance of CCTV systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
• Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs, and cables.
• Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
