  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area consistently.
  • Balance the cash register daily to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Report and resolve any discrepancies related to cash registers when needed.
  • Assist with stocking shelves and organizing products as required.
  • Collaborate with other team members to enhance customer satisfaction efforts.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with established company security procedures.
  • Stay updated on store promotions and communicate them effectively to customers.
  • Handle customer complaints with professionalism and escalate when necessary.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail in handling transactions.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with payment processing systems.
