Synopsis



The Narrow Body Optimization Officer will support the day-to-day cargo space management and coordination for narrow-body operations. The role involves close interaction with customers, the cargo hub, and internal planning teams to ensure optimal utilization of available capacity and to build traction in key narrow-body markets. The incumbent will play a vital role in identifying shipment opportunities, improving load factors, and ensuring seamless cargo movement on short- and medium-haul routes.

Accountabilities



Manage daily cargo booking coordination for narrow-body flights, ensuring optimal space utilization.

Interact regularly with customers, freight forwarders, and station teams to identify shipment opportunities suitable for narrow-body aircraft.

Coordinate with the hub operations team for load planning, acceptance, and flight readiness.

Track flight-wise performance and highlight capacity gaps, offloads, or underutilization trends.

Support the Narrow Body Optimization Manager in implementing capacity allocation plans and product mix strategies.

Provide quick turnaround on customer queries related to space, acceptance, and routing options.

Work closely with the revenue and interline teams to channelize small shipments or e-commerce products that fit narrow-body payload profiles.

Assist in preparing weekly performance updates, route-level analysis, and customer traction reports.

Contribute to improving shipment handling processes and maintaining strong service quality.

Education & Experience



Bachelor’s degree is mandatory (preferably in Business, Logistics, Aviation Management, or related field). MBA or Postgraduate qualification would be an added advantage.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in Sales, air cargo capacity management, load control, or network optimization.

Experience With Narrow-body Or Low-cost Airline Operations Preferred.

Strong commercial understanding of shipment profiles and commodities.

Advanced analytical skills and confident with planning and performance tools.

Strong communication and stakeholder management, high Excel skills, Power BI a plus.
