Responsibilities

• Develop detailed CAD drawings for infrastructure projects, ensuring precision and clarity.

• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation for project submissions and approvals.
• Review design sketches and instructions for consistency and adherence to project scope.
• Update and revise existing drawings to reflect changes or enhancements in designs.
• Use CAD software to create engineering drawings, layouts, and detailed schematics.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and design conflicts.
• Prepare bill of quantities and material take-offs for project estimation purposes.
• Conduct site visits to verify design feasibility and gather essential project data.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of project drawings for easy retrieval and reference.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior draughtsmen and other team members.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CAD Draughtsman, preferably in infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, specifications, and project lifecycle.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
• Ability to read and understand complex technical drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in producing and reviewing technical drawings.
• Diploma or degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field preferred.
