Duties and responsibilities

• To carry out all the purchasing activities, according to the indications and guidelines of purchasing coordinator / Head of Purchasing Department, such as: float of inquiries, economical and contractual negotiations, issue of economical evaluation to project teams, cooperate with project teams in highlighting main reasons of eventual extra budgets and proposing mitigation actions, issue of purchase orders and following Amendments, expediting of purchase order acceptance by vendors.
• To support project procurement coordinators during the development of the supplies in case of any commercial problem.
• International purchasing experience.
• Involvement in purchase of steel structure fabrication, piping bulk, and other oil and gas EPC project purchase experience.
• Commercial terms and conditions negotiations.
• Coordination cross functional team.

Knowledge & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

• At least 8 years of relevant purchasing experience in construction of large oil & gas plants / EPC projects.

• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, management skills.
• Team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
