Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our dynamic procurement team. As a Buyer, you will be a pivotal part of our supply chain operations, playing a crucial role in sourcing and purchasing materials, products, and services to meet the company’s operational needs. With your keen understanding of market trends, supplier negotiations, and cost-efficient strategies, you will ensure that all procurements are timely and aligned with the organizational objectives. Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential suppliers to ensure quality and competitive pricing.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to achieve optimal agreements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand material requirements and specifications.
  • Monitor market trends to anticipate supply and cost changes effectively.
  • Maintain and update procurement records, including purchase orders and supplier information.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of current suppliers to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Resolve issues with supplier delivery and develop corrective action plans as needed.
  • Prepare reports on purchasing activities, cost analyses, and market conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Work closely with the Finance team to manage budgets and forecast costs accurately.
  • Continuously seek areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal-making.
  • Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and clients simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective negotiations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Knowledge of procurement laws and best practices within the industry.
