Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, offers 213 luxurious guestrooms and suites, six private pool villas, and 161 fully furnished serviced apartments featuring a one-kilometre private beach which blends modern Arabic design with exceptional comfort.

As a Business Development Manager – Leisure, you drive revenue growth by developing and managing leisure market segments. You will build strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and key partners to maximize room nights and brand presence. Also, you align sales strategies with the hotel’s luxury positioning and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage leisure market accounts to achieve revenue and occupancy targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, DMCs, and wholesale partners.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies, promotions, and packages aligned with the luxury brand.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies to maximize performance.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecast, and participate in trade shows, roadshows, and networking events.

About You

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and account management skills with a proven ability to drive leisure revenue.
  • Excellent market knowledge of leisure segments, tour operators, travel agents, and distribution channels.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with luxury brand positioning.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data, trends, and performance reports.
  • Results-driven, proactive, and resilient with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in Sales, Revenue Management, or Marketing are an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry.
