Job Description

The Business Development Manager is an integral part of our company's growth strategy, tasked with identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with clients. This role requires someone with an analytical mind and a talent for identifying market trends and changes, as well as the ability to devise strategic plans that facilitate business success. The ideal candidate will possess robust interpersonal skills and a knack for negotiation, coupled with an in-depth understanding of the business's sector. As a Business Development Manager, you will work closely with other departments to ensure alignment in order to drive revenue growth, improve market positions, and strengthen our brand’s recognition in key areas.


Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities and key partners to enhance company growth.
  • Develop comprehensive strategic plans that align with company objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
  • Work with the marketing and sales teams to create and implement growth strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Present business development plans and progress reports to senior management.
  • Monitor the performance of strategic initiatives and make necessary adjustments.
  • Attend industry functions and networking events to collect market information.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with business development activities.
  • Collaborate with the product team to ensure offerings meet customer needs.
  • Develop and oversee the execution of personalized client development plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in business development or sales roles.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
  • Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is highly desirable.
  • High level of motivation and commitment to driving business success.
