The Business Development Executive with ERP or SaaS experience is a pivotal role that focuses on expanding the business by exploring and implementing new market opportunities. This key player is responsible for identifying prospects, closing deals, and maintaining prosperous, ongoing relationships with clients. With a strong foundation in ERP or SaaS solutions, this person will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to meet sales goals and deliver results. Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential clients in the ERP or SaaS sector for business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to understand customer needs and emerging industry trends.
  • Build and maintain lucrative relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the industry.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that align with sales goals.
  • Analyze customer needs to tailor solutions that best fit their business requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable deals and partnerships.
  • Track and report sales activities and results to senior management regularly.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new clients and ensure their satisfaction with the service offered.
  • Stay up-to-date with product and service developments within the company and new technologies in the market.
  • Actively participate in networking events and industry conferences to enhance company visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development within the ERP or SaaS space.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/SaaS products and services with the ability to articulate their benefits.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for client engagements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex business scenarios.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
