Job Description

The Business Development Executive is a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of a company. This position is focused on identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction to foster long-term partnerships. A successful Business Development Executive possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills along with a strategic mindset to understand market trends and customer needs. In addition to generating leads and converting them into sales opportunities, the executive collaborates with the marketing and sales teams to develop effective business strategies. Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential clients in the target market and industry.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Create proposals and presentations to pitch products or services to clients.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective business strategies.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategy.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor project pipelines, sales forecasts, and personal performance metrics regularly.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and gather market intelligence.
  • Report on sales activity and performance, recommending improvements where needed.
  • Oversee the onboarding process of new clients to ensure successful integration.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in client acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of company's vision and strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Executive or similar sales role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand market trends and analyze business data.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, networking, and industry events.
