Job Description

A Business Analyst is a key player in bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. As a Business Analyst, you will take on an essential role in gathering and analyzing data to ensure business processes align with organizational goals effectively. You will participate in projects that seek to create improvements in operations, drive process changes, and support business strategy and performance objectives. The role involves constant interaction with teams across the organization to understand and document the ongoing business needs, helping to drive decision-making and innovation. You should be experienced in creating detailed business analyses, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for the business.


Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze data for insight into business processes and practices.
  • Identify and document business requirements for new projects and initiatives.
  • Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for IT implementation.
  • Develop project documentation including business case, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure business requirements are understood and built correctly.
  • Develop and maintain monthly performance metrics and dashboards for senior management.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to communicate identified business solutions.
  • Conduct QA of project deliverables to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to drive innovation.
  • Participate in change management activities to facilitate adoption of new processes.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide recommendations based on the findings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a business analyst role or similar capacity.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze data.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed reports and presentations for business stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with various departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and software such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
