Job Title: BMS / BMS/Controls Sales Engineer- Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose
The BMS/Controls Sales Engineer is responsible for achieving assigned financial and sales targets while ensuring full compliance with Carrier’s Code of Ethics, EH&S policies, and Quality Management System requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Generate sales inquiries through regular market visits to contractors, consultants, end users, and facility management companies.
Develop and manage Controls/BMS sales opportunities and conduct customer meetings.
Forecast, achieve, and track monthly sales and booking targets.
Maintain and expand consultant and customer relationships (Consultant Coverage).
Quotation & Technical Support
Prepare quotations in line with project specifications.
Coordinate with Application Engineers to understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.
Follow up on quotation status and ensure timely customer feedback.
Conduct technical submittals and clarifications until order finalization in coordination with the Sales Manager.
Commercial & Contract Management
Obtain factory/supplier pricing by completing required documentation and procedures.
Review standard sales contracts and negotiate terms including payment conditions, LC terms, warranties, etc.
Follow internal approval processes for contracts and commercial agreements.
Review and approve costing sheets and quotations as per the approval matrix.
Order Processing & Coordination
Transition confirmed sales orders to the Controls Operations Team in coordination with Finance for approval.
Monitor monthly backlog reports and ensure accurate order tracking.
Ensure correct invoicing is issued through coordination with sales coordinators.
Follow up on delivery schedules with logistics teams.
Finance & Collections
Ensure adherence to payment terms and conditions as per Finance Department guidelines.
Support collections and follow up on outstanding payments in coordination with Finance.
Participate in weekly and monthly sales review, aging, and collection meetings.
Customer Communication & Support
Ensure customers are regularly updated with the latest Carrier software, catalogs, and product information.
Maintain strong post-sales customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Experience
4–5 years of relevant experience in HVAC Controls / BMS industry (preferably in UAE)
Strong knowledge of HVAC Controls, BMS systems, and Chiller Plant Manager solutions
Good understanding of Total Quality Management (TQM) and ISO procedures
Competencies & Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer focus and relationship management
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong negotiation skills
Proficiency in MS Office and general computer applications
Proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage)
UAE Driving License (Mandatory)
Team player with strong ownership mindset
