Job Description

• Lead BIM strategy, BEP, MIDP/TIDP in line with ISO 19650
• Manage BIM delivery for roads, highways and bridges, wet and dry utilities, pump stations & plants, and public realm from LoD 100 to LoD 350
• Strong knowledge and implementation of BIM 4D to7D, Familiarity with cost-loaded 5-D platforms and Power BI dashboards.
• Ensure BIM Team, Digital Workstream Teams and other Project Stakeholders are aware, informed and trained in applying BIM QA/QC procedures in their work
• Coordinate multidisciplinary models and oversee clash detection and resolution
• Establish and manage Common Data Environments (ACC/BIM 360/ProjectWise) Ensure compliance with UAE authorities (ADM/DMT, RTA, DEWA, DM ITC, TAQA-WS, ADDC, DEWA, Aldar and other developers of Dubai and Northern Emirates)
• Act as primary BIM interface with clients, authorities, contractors, and stakeholders
• Lead and mentor BIM teams and support recruitment and capability development
• Drive digital innovation, automation, and support asset information handover
  
  

Skills & Abilities

• Expert in Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Dynamo Scripting
• Strong experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
• Knowledge of Dynamo, GIS integration, IFC, and digital handover standards
• Horizontal and Vertical displacement of Utilities, Engineering judgment
• Creating BIM libraries and compliance with ADQCC standards
• Strong leadership and management of BIM Coordinators and Digital Delivery team
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• High attention to quality, governance, and detail
• Proven experience delivering UAE/GCC infrastructure projects
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil/Infrastructure or related)
• ISO 19650 Certification (added advantage)
• Additional BIM/Autodesk certifications preferred

Background Check and Drug Testing Information

CDM Smith Inc. and its divisions and subsidiaries (hereafter collectively referred to as “CDM Smith”) reserves the right to require background checks including criminal, employment, education, licensure, etc. as well as credit and motor vehicle when applicable for certain positions. If this position is subject to a background check for any convictions related to its responsibilities and requirements, employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation including criminal history. Criminal history will not automatically disqualify a candidate. In addition, during employment individuals may be required by CDM Smith or a CDM Smith client to successfully complete additional background checks, including motor vehicle record as well as drug testing.

All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.
