Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality coffee and beverage offerings according to established recipes.
• Engage with customers to understand their order preferences and make recommendations.
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment with attention to detail and hygiene standards.
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar and customer seating areas.
• Manage inventory and communicate supply needs to the management proactively.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to create a safe and inviting environment.
• Provide prompt and efficient service to meet customer expectations and satisfaction.
• Handle transactions accurately using the point of sale (POS) system.
• Assist in opening and closing duties, including cash handling and equipment management.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service quality.
• Offer support to fellow team members during peak hours to ensure seamless operations.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new coffee-making techniques and trends.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role.
• Passion for coffee and ability to create visually appealing drinks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build customer rapport quickly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients accurately.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
