Oracle SQL/PL/SQL, APEX Application Development, Forms & Reports, RESTful Web Services Integration, Data Modeling, Database Security & Access Control, Performance Tuning, Application Migration, User Authentication & Authorization-Must

An Oracle APEX Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Oracle APEX, focusing on delivering effective technical solutions that meet business requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Development: Design, develop, and implement applications using Oracle APEX, ensuring they are user-friendly and meet business needs. Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 

Maintenance and Support: Maintain and enhance existing Oracle APEX applications, ensuring their performance, security, and reliability. 

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed applications, including user guides and technical specifications. 

Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for application issues, ensuring timely resolution. 

Performance Tuning: Continuously identify opportunities for application improvements and performance tuning.

Required Skills and QualificationsEducational Background: A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required. 

Experience: Proven experience in Oracle APEX development, with a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience. 

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, as well as familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 

Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex issues effectively. 

• Application Development: Build, enhance, and maintain secure, scalable web and mobile applications using Oracle APEX and AI-assisted development tools.
• Database Programming: Write complex SQL queries and develop stored procedures, packages, and triggers using PL/SQL.
• Requirements & Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design user interfaces (UX/UI), and create data models.
• Modernization: Migrate legacy systems (Oracle Forms, Excel, Access) to modern, browser-based Oracle APEX applications.
• Integration: Utilize REST APIs to consume external services and integrate with other SaaS platforms.
• Testing & Support: Troubleshoot bugs, debug applications, and provide technical support.
