Job Description

An Automotive Parts Sales Executive plays a critical role in the automotive industry by managing the sale of car parts and accessories to various clients, including dealerships, repair shops, and individual customers. This position requires strong knowledge of automotive parts and exceptional customer service skills to ensure the client's needs are met promptly and efficiently. As the main point of contact between the supplier and the customer, the Parts Sales Executive must be adept at building and maintaining relationships, solving problems, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients in the automotive industry.
  • Understand and promote the company's automotive parts and services effectively to customers.
  • Provide knowledgeable and accurate information about automotive parts to customers.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable automotive parts or accessories.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any issues relating to automotive parts.
  • Negotiate prices and terms of sales agreements with customers and suppliers.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure stock availability.
  • Prepare and submit sales contracts and purchase orders as required.
  • Track sales targets and prepare regular sales performance reports for management.
  • Participate in training sessions and stay updated with the latest automotive parts trends.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to provide customer feedback and market insights.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations throughout the sales process.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years experience in automotive parts sales or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and occasional travel to meet with clients or suppliers.
