Automotive Electrician - Classic Cars Workshop

Apt Resources is seeking a skilled Auto Electrician / Automotive Electrical Technician to join a prestigious classic car workshop in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing electrical and electronic systems in classic and vintage vehicles. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical and electronic faults.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot wiring, circuits, and electrical components.
• Repair and replace batteries, alternators, starters, fuses, relays, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle starting and charging systems.
• Perform electrical diagnostics using appropriate testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Install and repair electrical accessories and vehicle electronic systems.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and electrical inspections.
• Ensure all repairs are completed safely and according to required standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report identified faults and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.

• Diploma or certificate in Automotive Electrical Technology, Automotive Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience as an Auto Electrician, Automotive Electrician, or Automotive Electrical Technician.
• Experience working with classic, vintage, or luxury vehicles is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems.
• Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults, wiring, circuits, starters, alternators, batteries, lighting, and other electrical components.
• Ability to read and interpret automotive wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Proficient in using automotive diagnostic and electrical testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach to work.
• Willingness to work in a workshop environment and handle hands-on electrical repairs.
• Candidates must be currently based in the UAE and available to attend an in-person interview if shortlisted
