The Auto Electrician will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in vehicles. Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle electrical problems using advanced diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicle electrical systems and components.
• Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, and other electrical components.
• Install new electrical systems and components in vehicles when necessary.
• Inspect and test electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with mechanics to jointly address vehicle system issues efficiently.
• Provide clear and detailed service reports to customers and supervisors.
• Stay updated on advancements in automotive electrical technology and innovations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and order of the workshop and tools.
• Operate all workshop tools and equipment safely to avoid accidents.
• Assist in training and overseeing junior technicians and apprentices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and all national electrical codes.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in auto electrics, electronic engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an auto electrician in a relevant industry.
• Strong understanding of automotive electronics, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail to prevent errors and ensure quality repairs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Possession of valid driver's license and ability to drive different vehicle types.
