Job Purpose

Support the performance management of Aldar’s residential and commercial property portfolio by assisting in data analysis, reporting, and coordination activities that help enhance value and optimize returns.

This role is only for UAE Nationals.

Roles And Responsibilities

Strategic

  • Support in the development and implementation of asset management strategies for Aldar’s residential and commercial portfolios to achieve optimal returns.
  • Identify the strategic, financial and operational targets as per the annual financial plans.
  • Support in the sourcing and execution of new potential land acquisitions or joint ventures in conjunction with the portfolio strategy.


Asset Management

  • Support the portfolio performance of residential, commercial, and other applicable assets to ensure achieving the financial and operational targets via our service provider / PM;
  • Ensure alignment with Aldar’s Investments decisions
  • Achieving the financial performance of assets
  • Maximize return on assets and assets utilization
  • Achieve profitability while recognizing inefficiencies and minimize asset capital expenditures.


Market Research

  • Review outcomes of market research and identify market dynamics impacting assets performance.
  • Assess the forecasted changes in rates and occupancy levels on our portfolio.


Risk Management:

  • Assess and effectively manage all the risks associated with the operation / utilization of assets to ensure activities are in alignment with the portfolio objectives.


Related Years Of Experience

Min of 4+ years in real estate, property and asset management, investment banking, buy side or sell side advisory or other related field.

Field Of Experience

Banking, real estate consultancy, management consultancy.

Technical And Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency with standard software, including MS Office; advanced Excel skills is a must.
  • Experience in conducting valuation / financial models.
  • Able to analyze, evaluate and move quickly to support rapid decision making.
  • Experience in management of transaction documentation: NDAs, MoUs, LoI’s, and SPA’s
  • Ability to develop Board level papers and investment memoranda.


QUALIFICATION

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance or Accounting, MBA (Finance), CFA, CA or CPA preferred.
