Job Description
The Assistant Supply Chain Manager plays a crucial role in managing the supply chain operations of the organization. This includes overseeing the inventory management, procurement, logistics, and coordinating with suppliers. Additionally, this role is responsible for streamlining processes, optimizing costs, ensuring timely delivery, and managing the supply chain team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with procurement team to identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues.
- Streamline supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Analyze data to identify trends and make informed decisions regarding procurement and logistics.
- Manage the supply chain team and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth flow of materials.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures related to supply chain management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
