Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. As an Assistant Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and ensuring customer satisfaction by supporting the sales team in executing the sales strategies. You will work closely with the Sales Manager to coordinate sales activities, oversee sales operations, and develop comprehensive sales plans. Your ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities for sales enhancement, and implement innovative approaches will be vital to the success of our sales division. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing strategic sales plans.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to set and meet sales targets and objectives.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Provide training and mentorship to sales representatives to enhance their skills.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and market trends.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop promotional strategies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports and present them to senior management regularly.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures within the sales department.
  • Participate in annual sales planning to forecast sales achievements and challenges.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
  • Motivate the sales team to achieve both individual and team targets consistently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or a similar role for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients effectively.
  • Ability to analyze sales metrics and formulate data-driven strategies.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in previous positions.
