Assistant Resident Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Resident Engineer with a strong background in the supervision of bridges, roads, and infrastructure projects within the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.

Your role

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in construction supervision of roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects.
• Mandatory UAE experience in a supervision consultancy role.
• Proven experience in bridge construction, including reinforced concrete, structural steel, and associated infrastructure works.
• Hands-on experience in the supervision of cycle tracks, pedestrian pathways, active mobility, or urban streetscape projects.
• Familiarity with RTA, Abu Dhabi Mobility, and UAE road design standards is preferred.
  
  

About You

• Supervise bridge, road, and cycle track construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Review contractor submissions, inspection requests, and method statements.
• Coordinate with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor project progress and prepare technical and progress reports.
• Support the Resident Engineer in contract administration and project delivery.
