The Assistant Manager - Sales role is a pivotal position within our sales department. As an Assistant Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to drive revenue, manage client relationships, and lead a team of sales professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a knack for motivating a team to achieve and exceed sales targets. You will help in strategizing sales approaches, analyzing market trends, and developing new strategies to attract potential clients. Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the sales department effectively.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to understand and execute strategic priorities.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet organizational goals.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and present insights to senior management.
  • Identify new market opportunities and work on market penetration strategies.
  • Train and mentor sales staff to enhance their skillsets and performance.
  • Facilitate communication between management and the sales team efficiently.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving sales-related issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver performance reports to track sales progress regularly.
  • Participate actively in recruitment and selection processes for new sales hires.
  • Build a collaborative and enthusiastic work environment within the sales division.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a sales management or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with proven experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret sales data to improve performance.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in previous roles.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite for data management.
