Assistant Manager - Post Press Finishing

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Post Press Finishing to oversee and manage post press finishing operations within the Secure Identity Division of e7 Group. This role is responsible for driving production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, optimizing operational performance, and leading teams to ensure timely execution of production orders while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily post press finishing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are achieved. 
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute job orders while ensuring optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and resources. 
  • Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), productivity, and operational performance across the finishing section. 
  • Implement process improvement initiatives to reduce waste, enhance efficiency, and support cost optimization objectives. 
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, production procedures, safety requirements, and operational policies. 
  • Lead, guide, and develop supervisors and production teams to foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with operators, supervisors, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth production workflows and issue resolution.
  • Support machine setup, troubleshooting activities, and process optimization to maximize operational effectiveness. 

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field. 
  • 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably within the smart card, secure printing, or related production industry. 
  • Proven experience managing production teams and post press finishing operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. 
  • Strong understanding of production planning, process optimization, quality management, and operational excellence principles. 
  • Demonstrated ability to improve productivity, reduce process waste, and achieve operational performance targets. 
  • Good knowledge of machine operations, troubleshooting, and manufacturing best practices
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in secure identity, smart card manufacturing, or similar highly regulated production environments is highly desirable.
