The Leasing & PM Assistant Manager role is responsible for managing the end-to-end leasing process for residential or commercial properties. This includes marketing available units, conducting property viewing, screening prospective tenants, preparing lease agreements, and supporting tenants throughout the leasing cycle. The Leasing Agent serves as the front line for tenant interaction and plays a key role in achieving occupancy targets and maintaining tenant satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Achieve the annual leasing budgeted targets.
Promote and lease available properties to qualified tenants to maintain optimal occupancy.
Arrange property viewings and highlight key features and amenities to prospective tenants.
Answer inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing accurate property information as per SLAs.
Pre-screen and qualify tenants based on predefined criteria, including income, credit, and references.
Assist prospects throughout the leasing process, from application to move-in.
Prepare, review, and explain lease agreements and related documentation.
Coordinate lease renewals and manage lease expirations and terminations.
Maintain strong tenant relations by addressing inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
Maintain an updated inventory of available units with accurate pricing and availability dates.
Ensure accurate completion and filing of documents, including Tawtheeq/Ejari, applications, leases, ID copies, and deposit records in the system.
Maintain accurate tenant databases, lease files, and tracking systems.
Provide regular leasing activity reports covering inquiries, viewings, conversions, signed leases, renewals, and other leasing activities.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the leasing process.
Collaborate with BAM/BFM teams to ensure unit readiness for showings and move-ins.
Escalate maintenance issues or property conditions requiring attention to BAM.
Coordinate with Finance regarding security deposits, rent collection, and outstanding payment follow-ups.
Coordinate and cooperate with other stakeholders, including Contact Center, CX, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to assist tenants and support process improvements.
Provide market insights and recommendations for rental price adjustments and property improvements.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor properties, and local rental regulations.
Identify opportunities to improve tenant retention and reduce vacancy rates.
Participate in interdepartmental and cross-functional projects and tasks when required.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager.
Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor or diploma (required); College Degree in Real Estate, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Min. of 2 years of experience in real estate leasing, property management, or sales.
