Job Description

The Assistant Manager Corporate Sales is an integral part of the corporate sales team, responsible for driving sales and cultivating strong relationships with key accounts. This role requires an individual with exceptional communication and negotiation skills, who is detail-oriented and capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively within a team. The individual will support the senior management in formulating strategies to retain existing clients and acquire new business, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded. A proactive problem-solver, the Assistant Manager will analyze market trends to develop competitive sales strategies, contribute to strategic planning, and enhance the overall sales function. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and build strong client relationships.
  • Manage and expand the existing portfolio of corporate accounts effectively.
  • Work closely with senior management to establish competitive pricing structures.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports to senior management regularly.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective sales campaigns.
  • Oversee the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closing.
  • Negotiate and close deals ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities proactively.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns promptly.
  • Train and mentor junior sales team members when required.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate sales or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven work environment.
