Assistant Manager-Cash Management Services

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager – Cash Management Services to join our Cash Services Team in Abu Dhabi.

Scope

Assistant Manager-Cash Management Services Abu Dhabi oversees various operations at CMC and serves as the second in command to the Operations Manager. This role assists in planning, organizing, and coordinating CMC operations, as well as all activities and administrative functions of the staff. The Assistant Operations Manager is actively involved in system implementations, upgrades, and necessary changes. Additionally, this position supports the continuous operation of two Cash Centers, ensuring 24/7 coverage for the entire Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Western Region.

Responsibilities

Financial

• Ensure all operations are conducted in a cost-effective manner, including promoting recycling.
• Assist the Operations Manager in managing budgets and forecasts.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising work quality.

Customer

• Liaise with existing customers and clients to address any hindrances or issues affecting smooth operations.
• Attend to external and internal auditors as required.
• Ensure delivery, action, audit, and maintenance of all customer reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships across the business unit.

Process

• Control and supervise all CMC operations, ensuring smooth execution and timely accomplishment.
• Coordinate with clients and customers for day-to-day activities and operations.
• Ensure all orders and instructions are complied with by CMC staff.
• Assist the Manager in recruiting new staff and evaluating employee performance to identify hiring and training needs.
• Supervise and motivate staff to achieve optimal performance.
• Communicate with clients to evaluate their needs and handle complaints.
• Conduct regular audits as per company policy.
• Oversee the analytical framework used to support decisions on financing tools, optimizing working capital usage.
• Maintain a focus on enhancing control, achieving operational efficiency, and reducing operational risk.

Selection Criteria

• Minimum of 5 to 8 years in a cash management center and banking operations.
• Proven expertise in handling large volumes of cash, ATM operations, investigations, implementing security measures, and team management.
• Excellent organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in dynamic and cross-functional team environments.
• Effective relationship-building, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
