The Project

Mace is providing project management services on a large mixed-use regeneration development in Abu Dhabi. The site will have commercial workplaces and retail units along with a public realm.

Drives the effective implementation of design management systems, ensuring compliance with statutory and contractual requirements. Enables change and continuous improvement to create distinctive value. Oversees all design management stages, integrating with delivery functions, and contributes to strategic planning, execution, and overall project performance.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Managing design and build deliverables in line with FIDIC Yellow Book conditions, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
• Reviewing and validating architectural design packages, including DVRs, IFC drawings, and shop drawings.
• Ensuring full compliance with UAE building codes and authority standards.
• Coordinating architectural design with structural and MEP teams to ensure fully integrated project delivery.
• Overseeing Abu Dhabi authority submissions and approval processes for architectural works.
• Resolving design and site-related technical issues and communicating effectively with contractors, resident engineers, and stakeholders.
  
  

You’ll Need To Have

• Professional accreditation with strong architectural, construction, and consultancy expertise.
• Proven delivery experience on mixed-use projects, ideally within the UAE and large, diverse teams.
• Strong knowledge of building safety, contracts, UAE codes, and multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Skilled in design review, stakeholder engagement, and using industry‑standard architectural software.
• Experience working in the United Arab Emirates is essential for client approval.
