Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and engineers to understand project specifications and design intent.
• Produce detailed architectural drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Review designs for errors, ensuring all components are mathematically and spatially accurate.
• Maintain and update design changes throughout various phases of project completion.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Conduct site visits to collect measurements and verify design specifications.
• Prepare renderings and technical plans to assist in client presentations and meetings.
• Liaise with construction teams to convey architectural details and specifications accurately.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, detailing, and manuals.
• Utilize feedback from architects and engineers to refine and improve project designs.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in drafting technology and techniques.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Architectural Draftsman or in a similar role within architecture.
• Proficiency in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programs.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building techniques, and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field is preferred.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
