Arabic-Speaking SEN Inclusion Assistant

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and group support to students inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
• Support students with academic, physical, emotional, social, and behavioral needs.
• Promote student independence and social communication skills.
• Prepare learning resources and support curriculum differentiation.
• Maintain student records and communicate effectively with teachers and parents when required.
• Ensure compliance with school policies, health & safety regulations, and professional standards.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other educational professionals.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in special education, Education, Psychology, or a related field.

CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) is an advantage.

Additional certifications such as RBT or SEN-related qualifications are preferred.

Previous experience working with Students of Determination / Special Educational Needs is highly preferred.

Strong English communication skills; Arabic-English bilingual candidates are highly preferred.

Patient, empathetic, organized, and able to work effectively within a team.
