The ideal candidate will have strong testing and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify defects, validate application functionality, and collaborate with development and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Responsibilities</strong></div><ul><li>Execute&nbsp;<strong>manual and automated tests</strong> to validate application functionality and quality.</li><li>Review requirements, user stories, and specifications to identify testing needs.</li><li>Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, test scripts, and testing documentation.</li><li>Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing.</li><li>Identify, reproduce, document, and track application defects.</li><li>Provide clear reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, and supporting evidence for reported issues.</li><li>Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing after application updates.</li><li>Validate application functionality against business and technical requirements.</li><li>Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, mobile, and device testing when required.</li><li>Test application interfaces, workflows, integrations, and data flows.</li><li>Collaborate with&nbsp;<strong>developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders</strong> to investigate and resolve issues.</li><li>Monitor testing results and communicate quality risks and concerns.</li><li>Support release testing, deployment validation, and production verification activities.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, and testing progress.</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and application quality.</li></ul><div><strong>Required Skills</strong></div><ul><li>Strong understanding of&nbsp;<strong>software testing and quality assurance principles</strong>.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.</li><li>Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.</li><li>Ability to identify, reproduce, and clearly document application defects.</li><li>Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.</li><li>Understanding of functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.</li><li>Knowledge of web and mobile application testing.</li><li>Basic knowledge of APIs, databases, and SQL is beneficial.</li><li>Familiarity with automated testing concepts and tools.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and professionally.</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.</li></ul><div><strong>Requirements</strong></div><ul><li>Previous experience as an&nbsp;<strong>Application Tester, QA Tester, Software Tester, or similar role</strong>.</li><li>Hands-on experience testing software applications.</li><li>Experience creating and executing manual test cases.</li><li>Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.</li><li>Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.</li><li>Experience performing functional and regression testing.</li><li>Understanding of software development and release processes.</li><li>Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.</li><li>Experience testing web, mobile, or desktop applications.</li><li>Strong computer and digital skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple testing activities while meeting deadlines.</li><li>Reliable internet connection and a suitable setup for remote work.</li><li>Professional, analytical, dependable, and quality-focused attitude.</li><li>English proficiency is required if the position involves working with English-speaking teams or technical documentation.</li></ul><div>By applying to this position, we’ll create your&nbsp;<strong>Simera Professional Key (SPK)</strong> — a unique key that helps you connect with employers, stand out, and secure the right match.</div>
