Application Support Engineer 6-Month Contract Abu Dhabi UAE

We are hiring an Application Support Engineer for an urgent 6-month contract opportunity with a leading organization in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Contract: 6 Months

Joining: ASAP (Immediate Joiners Only)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting and maintenance for enterprise and aviation applications
• Support aviation MRO/maintenance and engineering applications and related business systems
• Configure, test and maintain applications, integrations and system interfaces
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide first- and second-line technical support
• Support ERP/MRO implementation, integration and application enhancements
• Work with Engineering, Flight Operations, Finance, HR and other business teams to resolve application issues
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports and database-related solutions
• Support applications built on .NET / ASP.NET / C#
• Support application testing, deployment, upgrades, patches and system maintenance
• Assist with AI/ML/GenAI initiatives and automation to improve application support and business processes
• Maintain application documentation, technical procedures and incident records
• Collaborate with internal IT teams, application vendors and business stakeholders

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant application support experience
• MUST HAVE aviation / MRO experience
• Hands-on experience with aviation MRO platforms such as AMOS, Ramco Aviation, TRAX, Ultramain, IFS Aviation, Veryon, Rusada or equivalent
• Experience supporting aviation engineering, aircraft maintenance or flight operations applications
• Strong experience with SQL Server
• Experience with .NET / ASP.NET / C#
• Experience with ERP/MRO application integration
• Strong troubleshooting and application maintenance experience
• Exposure to AI/ML/GenAI and automation
• Completed AI/ML/GenAI certification as specified in the requirement
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience with application testing, configuration and implementation

Ideal Candidate

Hands-on aviation application support professionals with 5+ years of experience, strong MRO systems exposure, and technical expertise in SQL, .NET/C# and enterprise application support, with exposure to AI/ML/GenAI and automation.
