Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints with precision and understanding.
• Measure, cut, and fit aluminium sections accurately according to specifications.
• Operate hand tools and machinery safely to shape and assemble aluminium pieces.
• Ensure all fabricated parts meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Install aluminium components effectively, ensuring alignment and structural integrity.
• Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of fabrication equipment and tools.
• Collaborate with team members to improve fabrication processes and productivity.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe workplace environment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials and time management.
• Assist with the packaging and transportation of finished aluminium products.
• Identify and resolve any issues or defects in the fabrication process promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aluminium Fabricator or similar role for at least two years.
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and plans.
• Proficient in using various hand tools and fabrication machinery safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in all aspects of fabrication work.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety standards and practices in a workshop setting.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Good physical condition and ability to handle manual labour tasks when necessary.
