In this role graduate will learn how to model and evaluate data‑link (Layer 2) protocols. The role provides exposure to networking concepts and simulation tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Help design and implement simulation models for Layer 2 protocols such as MAC, LLC and routing.
• Collect performance metrics (throughput, latency, error rates) and compile reports.
• Assist with debugging simulation models and updating them based on feedback.
• Participate in team discussions about protocol optimisation and cross‑layer interactions
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Networking or related field.
• Coursework in data communications and networking.
• Familiarity with Python or C/C++ and network simulation tools (e.g., NS‑3) is a plus.

• Communication and teamwork.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn networking protocols and standards.
