Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on engineer responsible for the design, development, and integration of air handling and fluid systems for a small turbojet and turbofan engines. The role covers intake aerodynamics, exhaust nozzle design, and supporting systems including fuel, lubrication, and actuation hardware (solenoids, pumps, valves, and piping).

Key Responsibilities

• Intake System Design
• Design and optimize engine air intake
• Perform CFD analysis
• Ensure compatibility with configurations
• Exhaust Nozzle Design
• Design nozzle geometry
• Optimize thrust and backpressure
• Fluid & Actuation Systems
• Select pumps, solenoids, valves
• Define fuel and lubrication systems
• Piping & Routing Design
• Design fuel, oil, pneumatic lines
• Perform pressure drop calculations
• Testing & Validation Support
• Support engine testing and troubleshooting
• Define instrumentation and test requirements
• Analyze test data and correlate with predictions
  
  

• Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• 5–8 years of relevant experience
  
  

• Compressible flow, thermodynamics
• CFD tools (ANSYS, Fluent)
• CAD tools (SolidWorks, NX, CATIA)
• Knowledge of fuel and lubrication systems
  
  

• Turbojet or gas turbine experience
• Test cell experience
