About the Job:

 

Oversee the performance and strategic alignment of the organization’s assets. This role ensures that assets operate in accordance with corporate standards, values, and strategic objectives. Implement governance frameworks, monitor operational performance, and provide executive-level insights to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

  • Ensure assets’ operations are aligned with the corporate strategy and long-term objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate asset performance against strategic KPIs and benchmarks.
  • Support the integration of corporate values and standards across asset operations.
  • Implement governance best practices to ensure operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to governance, operations, and financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reporting tools for asset oversight.
  • Provide executive leadership with comprehensive reports, analyses, and insights into asset performance, challenges, and achievements.
  • Recommend corrective actions and strategic initiatives based on performance trends and operational gaps.
  • Serve as a liaison between corporate leadership and asset management teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Facilitate alignment workshops, strategic reviews, and performance dialogues with stakeholders.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives that enhance synergy between corporate and asset operations.
  • Lead the development and refinement of the vision and long-term strategy for the organization, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Guide the development and oversee the implementation of business strategies to maximize returns.
  • Provide effective leadership and integrated strategic direction in areas of governance, operations, and people management.
  • Direct the effective planning and allocation of resources to ensure efficient and profitable operations.
  • Guide the development and approval of business plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Drive the implementation of performance management systems to promote a performance-driven culture.
  • Approve organizational structures to optimize human capital and meet business objectives.
  • Ensure the attraction, motivation, and retention of high-caliber employees to achieve organizational goals.
  • Direct the preparation and implementation of operational plans to meet sales strategies and shareholder requirements.
  • Lead the evaluation and execution of development programs to maximize recovery and achieve cost efficiencies.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to enhance operations and services.
  • Oversee the development of policies, processes, and procedures to support work programs and ensure compliance with standards.

 

Minimum Requirtments:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in asset management, corporate governance, or strategic planning within the energy, maritime, or logistics sectors..
  • Experience working with or overseeing joint ventures, subsidiaries, or international partnerships. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards in the UAE and global markets.
