Acute Medicine Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients presenting with acute illnesses promptly and effectively
• Develop individualized treatment plans in line with current best practices
• Interpret diagnostic tests to guide clinical decision-making
• Respond to medical emergencies, providing immediate care and interventions
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive measures
• Contribute to clinical audits, research activities, and quality improvement projects
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
  
  

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Acute Medicine or relevant medical specialty
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute care setting
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to make critical decisions in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
