Job Description

The role of an Accounts Receivables Coordinator is vital in the financial stability of a company. This position requires a diligent and detail-oriented individual who can manage accounts receivable processes efficiently. The coordinator is responsible for monitoring incoming payments and ensuring all customer accounts are up to date. In addition to handling the collection of outstanding invoices, this role involves investigating payment discrepancies and collaborating with other departments to resolve issues. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be the point of contact for customers regarding their accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices, excellent analytical skills, and a knack for maintaining accurate financial records.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage incoming payments for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Record customer invoices and transactions with high attention to detail.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounting records and reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account information in the system.
  • Develop strategies to improve accounts receivable processes and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with sales and finance teams to address customer billing issues.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve billing and payment inquiries effectively.
  • Prepare and distribute account statements and reminders to customers.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and implement collection procedures when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies regarding accounts receivables.
  • Provide administrative support and assistance to the finance department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or similar accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
