Accounts Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to join a newly established operation in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have previous ADGM experience and a strong background in international finance and accounting.

The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing and managing the company’s finance and accounting functions and should be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and manage finance and accounting processes for a new company.
  
• Oversee financial reporting, controls, compliance, and accounting operations.
  
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial records.
  
• Support budgeting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
  
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial and regulatory requirements.
  
• Identify and implement effective finance processes and controls.
  
• Provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
  
• Work independently and proactively to address financial and operational requirements.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  
• Previous ADGM experience is essential.
  
• Strong experience in international finance and accounting.
  
• Experience in setting up finance and accounting functions for a new company.
  
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, reporting, and compliance.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
